Helsinki again Friday, 02.07.2010: After
Air Berlin had changed my flight plan, it was now getting up at 3:40. At 4:40, I then took the bus to the subway, was then at 5:30 at the airport, where I still had my Fly & Rail ticket pick up from the switch, which I did after 2 more phone calls with voice but get. 6:35 departure direction Dusseldorf, there 50 minute stop and then finally off to Helsinki. Landed there at 12:00 (11 clock here), take the bus into town. Was it first rather ko. Fortunately my hotel was only 5 minutes from Station
Short-rested and down in search of the clothing stores that I had been looking out on the web. But in the end only bought two shirts. Skirts do not all fit and the pants were too expensive. In the evening I was then arranged to meet Steffi, we first met in the park in front of the festival site, where I had briefly met a few Finns from last year, which are then returned to the campsite. I am with S. moved first to some types of home, where we drank something and then in the Tauko bar where we were last year already, 2.50 EUR for a 0.4 beer is really OK. There we met another 2 girls that S. knew and we had fun, we had to go up by 2 clock because the Bars to make it all. Then I was briefly in the Uspensky Cathedral, where then had to go but all visitors because of grade was made. Sonnatg, 04.07.2010:
The usual sleep problem, but I'm reasonably fit. I'm doing on the Olymstadion go to the observation tower and enjoy the beautiful view over the city. Then again to the port, look for present for my parents, a Kaffeeloffel with moose antler handle has risen. After the last band went back into the park to 23h are the others again to the Virgin Oil, lack of sleep but I was then ready to rouse me at that. Apart from the fact that I woollte under 13 EUR pay admission for bands that do not interest me. Monday, 07/05/2010:
remained so until 8am in the bed, then breakfast at the supermarket concerned, then pack suitcases, again briefly at Stockmann in and around 11am by bus to the airport. Check-in, even chocolate coffee bought for my parents and departing at 13:10 (Finnish time).
arrival 20 minutes late at 14:30 in BERLIN (thanks again to AB for the great world tour). By bus from Central Station and then the ICE just get to HH at 15:25. At 17:30 back home.
